                                           DR Sun Services

DR Sun Services, owned by Daniel Rabb, take pride in their work.  They tilled, dug up, moved, carted away and brought in "the good stuff" to insure our yard would look the greatest next Spring.  Daniel Rabb can be reached at  317-501-8897.  Dan was honest with us and said that more work would be needed in the Spring.

They tilled.

Does this need a deck or what?  Patio is a mess!

And they tilled. And they aerated.
Front  yard totally tilled and raked. Same for the backyard. Some of DR Sun Services' workers, hard at work.  The green grass in the pix was planted about a month ago, before we decided to start over.
Spring 2015

Dan and his crew had a lot of groundcover to remove that had been in the yard for decades.  They removed 9 bushes for us.  The crumbling rock foundation of an old shed was entirely removed, and filled with dirt to receive the grass seed.  Stubborn stumps  were taken out below ground level.  Mulch from tree-stump grinding was shoveled out, and nutrient-rich dirt was put down in its place.  We had never seen such hard workers!

Doug and Amy were so impressed with the yard, that they asked Dan what else he could do to improve their little house.  "Well," said Dan, " we could pressure-wash the house and the sidewalk."   "Great!" they said.  It was one more step of improvement that was performed on     11-11-14.

When Spring 2015 (April 14th) rolled around, after 2.5 months of inactivity on the yard, DR Sun Services re-furbished the fence along the back of the property.  Doug and I painted it the color of the trim on the house.

To rectify the issue of standing water in both the backyard and the front yard, Dan Rabb (DR Sun Services) came up with a plan of building up the yard with dirt to allow a natural channeling of water run-off to the ditch.  The ditch was dug by Doug and Amy on April 30th & May 1st.  Dan and a bobcat re-trenched the ditch to create a better incline for the water to empty into the ditch.  Pictures are above after
Spring 2015.
